Cousin Time ~ Day One

My sister and her family were here for a few days.
We were able to reconnect and enjoy some "cousin" time.
A BBQ dinner was followed by a "campfire" in the backyard.
And S'Mores!

Emma had her cousin for a sleep-over ~
J.O.Y.

I interevened at 11:30 P.M. ~
No more

Remember those days?

of praise to God continually, that is,
the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name."

How lovely for Emma and what a 'sweet' time they had. My children miss out on cousin time as my sister is in the UK and Brett's is in NZ.
So how wonderful it was for my girls last week. They had so much fellowship with the Canadian young people last week. The afternoon here. Dinners. Bible studies and crazy game nights. My daughter gave them all lemon myrtle soaps and bookmarks to take home to Canada - her idea! And would you believe it just a few days after they came here in the hope of seeing a koala in the wild we see one, just at the bottom of our drive. And they now have invites to go and stay in Canada and penpals. So I'm very grateful that God sent them to our little town.

Camille,
THAT IS SO MUCH FUN!!! I know Emma will treasure those memories! 11:30 and NO MORE TALKING!!! Sweetness!

And you are wise to put cardboard under your fire. We didn't do that two summers ago and our yard has almost recovered. :)

Good Morning Camille!

As always I just love reading your blessings, they bring a smile to my face and joy to my heart. Through your blessings I can see your heart :)

How fun to have your sister and her family visit, it looks like everyone had a great time. Especially Miss Emma I think, having female companionship for a change ;) Growing up between 2 brothers I couldn't wait until my female cousin came to visit!

Have a day filled with many more of His blessings Camille and thanks for sharing :)

Dear Ann ~ How sad that your family is so far away...I am sure it is WONDERFUL when you do get a chance to get together! :) I think it was a great blessing that you had those Canadian young people over...sounds like you had a lovely time with them! They will go home with happy memories I am sure! :)

Dear Karen ~ How fun that you had so many cousins!! Such wonderful memories you must have!! Yes, family is precious and we desire to keep them close! :)

Dear J ~ SUCH fun times for Emma...but she was TIRED!! :) Oh that fire...we kept watering that cardboard and it still burned the grass underneath. Oh well...we are raising children, not grass. ;-)

Dear Sharon ~ Thank you for your sweet encouragement...you bring a smile to my face! :) May the LORD bless you this day with many of HIS blessings as well!

Blessings to you each one!
In His Love,
Camille
