Cousin Time ~ Day Two

My sister and her family were here for a few days
the week before last.
We had some special times together ~
two days in a row.
Emma had her girl cousin for a sleepover.

~ W.O.N.D.E.R.F.U.L. ~

We met up the next day to return precious cousin to her family.
Since we live so near the beach,
a stroll along the shore was the destination.

Little man cousin...taking it all in!

The girls...

Calvin and Fraser...

All SIX of 'em ~ front view...

And strolling away from us...

The girls running...

And pondering life...maybe?

Is it possible to go to the beach and NOT get wet??

Apparently not...

The whole gang...except me. :)

Strolling the promenade and chatting...

Great Auntie from Saskatchewan had a treat...

Rocket Balloons...ever heard of them?

They were...
G.R.E.A.T. F.U.N.!!!

Calvin made a discovery along the path back to the car.
I made him release it before leaving the beach.
Smart Mum, don't you think?
FYI ~ it was A.L.I.V.E.

Continuing to number my thanks ~
gratefulness is addicting.

731. A beach nearby to enjoy year-round

732. A "holiday destination" to explore at our leisure ~
and that we can return home at night to our own beds

733. The sparkle of sunlight on the distant waves ~
it looks like diamonds on the sea

734. "Fish and Chips" for dinner ~
a summer tradition and a local favourite

735. Rocket balloons ~ fun times!

736. An auntie who thinks of these things
and brings them along ~ thank you!! :)

737. Six kids running along the shore

738. Watching the kids interact and enjoy one another's company

739. Sunny summer days to enjoy the great outdoors

740. Thankful that the grasshopper was set free before the
ride home ~ and it was not used as a weapon. ;-)

Many Blessings,
Camille

Dear Treasures ~ BC is a lovely place to live, I agree! Thanks for taking the time to visit here...may the LORD bless you in the coming days! :)

Dear -t- ~ Thanks for stopping in...it's a blessing to hear from you! Oh, yes...those fish and chips are yummy, but must be enjoyed only once (maybe twice) per year!! And the memories are wonderful...how sad that they are quickly just that...memories! :)

Blessings to you both!

Camille

you got some great shots of everyone!! :) I'll have to get them off of you once my computer is fully functional again! :(
we made it home safely and first day of school went well - although being at the beach with cousins would have been more fun! :)
miss you all! and love to all!
love, Janine

Dear Janine ~

Ahh yes, computers! :) So glad you made it home safely and the kids had a good first day of school! Give our love to them and your hubby too...we were so glad to have had that time together. When are you coming again?? :)

Love,
Camille

Looks like you had a fun time with your sister's family. Some of our kids' most fun times are also when their cousins come to visit (and me seeing my sister!) Nice to be close enough to do that, isn't it?

Dear Teresa ~ Oh yes, we are thankful...it was fun! But, we don't live close anymore...that's the sad part (we live about 25 hours of driving...or a 2 1/2 hour flight apart).

Dear Jill ~ I do wish we could make these things last longer! BUT, you are right...good memories. :)

Dear Amy ~ Fish and Chips are worth waiting for...and should only be enjoyed infrequently...maybe soon? :)

Blessings to you each one!
Thanks for taking the time to visit!

In His Love,
Camille

Wanting What I Have said...

What a FUN DAY!!! How wonderful to be such good friends with cousins!

I'd never heard of rocket balloons. We'll have to try these.

And you continue to encourage me in numbering thanks! (Currently thanking God for a dishwasher that worked the last seven years...I regret complaining in my heart as I loaded it, rather than thanking God for the work having it has saved me. I endeavor to have a thankful heart now...and when it's replaced.) Thanks for being a great example and for pointing me to Jesus.

Thanks J for your encouragement...it is a blessing to my heart! :) Ahhh....yes, a working dishwasher...something we don't have at the moment either ~ LOTS of opportunities to serve around here. I hope you get a new one soon! :)

With love,
Camille
