Deeper Still

We've been travelling through some deep waters.
Sometimes, it's felt as though they might overtake.
Swallow us up.  Sweep us away.  Forever.

But, they haven't.  Not once.

Though the waters are deep ~ He is deeper still.
The Lord is our Rock.  Our Fortress.  Our sure Foundation.
Nothing can shake us or move us or crush us.
Nothing, that is, unless He desires it to.

When it comes from His loving hand ~
It is ultimately for our good.

It has been said that nothing can touch the Christian
without it first passing through the hands of our Heavenly Father.
What a comfort that is!  What a wonderful resting place for the weary soul.
We know that He will only do what is for our good and for His glory.

At the end of it all, it's all about that.

So, we look to Him.  We rest in Him.  We trust Him.
We can confidently say that, come what may, we have nothing to fear.
Every hope is found in Him.  Moment by moment.  Day after day.
Whatever He calls us to, He will be faithful to carry us through.
Every single thing.  Always.  Now and forever.

In His care ~ there truly is no safer place to be.

No safer place at all.

Many Blessings,
Camille

Oh Camille,
Every time I think about you and your family I think of how hard it must be for you all. I kNOW that having to give back one of our children would be the HARDEST thing a mama could ever do. I am sorry that you have to go through this now. So glad that God is holding you close through all those rough waters. Praying for you friend!

There is something about going through the darkest valleys that we find that He has helped us to conquer fear. It is as if fear can no longer bully us, because we have been through the worst that we could imagine and have come through with Him. When we lean on Him and trust Him as you are doing, He is able to work a great work of victory and trust in us. This is a comfort and a strength I have gained through some very difficult times in our life. You are often on my heart. I am praying for you.
Love and Blessings,
Pam

Dear Nikki ~ The Lord is so very kind to us through whatever it is He calls us to. Yes, this is most definitely the most difficult path we have ever walked, but, He is there in the midst of it all...carrying and giving His grace. How precious it is to know that you have been praying. Thank you SO much! I know that the prayers of His people are being used in our lives...it is so wonderful to be cared for in this way. May the Lord bless you and your precious family. He is Good! :)

Dear Pam ~ It means so much to me that you would lift us up in prayer...thank you for caring for us in this very tangible way! Yes, I think you are right...when the Lord takes us through the deep waters, He gives us deeper trust as a result. Your testimony blessed my heart as I read how the Lord has carried you through and you trust Him more because of it. Thank you for sharing your heart here...I am sure your words will bless many. :)

Dear Patty ~ You are a blessing to my heart...you know that? Thank you for your faithful friendship and for your prayers...I appreciate you! Hugs. :)
