The Quotidian (5. 9. 16)

Quotidian: daily, usual, or customary;
everyday; ordinary; commonplace.

On top of the world.

Two of my men...

...on their annual trip with two of their friends.

Their campsite.

Their stuff.

Their sustenance.

Airing out.

Austin's rose tree broke with the wind and needed a severe pruning.
Howie bandaged it up and now we wait.
(We came home to it laying in the grass with a half-severed trunk.)

I'm holding out hope that it will survive.

First soup of the season.

Last outdoor swim of the season.

Pen to paper ~ a note to a sweet friend.

Chomping at the bit.

Our two university students (first and third year).

About to pass the torch.

No more "N"!

For our girl.

Happy Monday Y'all!
With Love, Camille

Thank you my love.  XOXO

I Hope Austin's rose recovers, the buds are a good sign. I know I've said it time and time again but your children are growing up so fast.(your sons are indeed young men) The campsite photo is pretty amazing. Keep documenting these sweet memories, you'll be glad you did. Have a wonderful week, Hugs

Loved catching up on your blog and with you in person! So thankful to see you again my dear Friend!! So much fun to see your pictures! I love the boy's camping pictures! What an amazing view they had! We just had our first soup of the season and guess what? It was your recipe! In fact, it looked very similar to the picture in this post. Burger soup is one of our family's favourites. It has been for years! Thank you for sharing your recipes and thank you for sharing little bits of your lives here with us! Miss you all!!

I'm so sad about your beautiful rose tree. Tell Calvin I adore that picture of the flashlight in the woods. Very cool. Where did they go on their camping trip it looks like mountains in eastern Oregon. We too just finished our last swim outdoors and just started school this last week. How fun that I actually know now what you mean by no more "N"! Lol

Jackie ~ It is growing!!! I cannot believe it, but, it seems that it is going to survive. I really didn't think it would. The boys were in Cathedral Provincial Park in B.C. I like it that you have the *inside scoop* on us as well. Big Hugs! Camille xo
